It's coming to take me away...

Looks like the hurricane is going to hit us pretty much dead on. I'm not evacuating...I may have to work Monday. Wish me luck and I will post again as soon as I can, just in case we lose power.

On the road again...

Ok, so maybe I lied. They can kiss my ass. I wrote that before I knew they had it hitting New Orleans directly. I still thought it was going to hit a little to the east of us. My dad is staying and I'm evacuating with my mom, sister, brother-in-law and their kids.

I'll just have to let my boss know I'll be gone for a few days when I call her later to find out if I'm evacuating the park tonight. I can't believe there are still campers here. They aren't stupid (or are they?). They know we're going to close down. Why they're still here, I couldn't tell you.
