Speaking of dreams..
Dec. 3rd, 2007 11:34 amA friend of mine just posted about a dream she had and it reminded me. I have had a dream about a house and things that go on in this house several times. It's a bizarre dream. The house is like three or four stories, except the very top one, no one knows about except me and a few others. In one dream about this house, it was my grandmother's. The original part of the house was normal, but old. From a horror movie old. There was one door that led off into a basement. The basement was weird, had a few rooms in it, a living room and a few bedrooms. I even dreamt about the closets. They were old too. Everything had a dark, strange feeling about it.
In the basement, there was a door that led into a storage area and and old staircase. There were cobwebs and rats and everything scary you'd expect to find in an old, abandoned house. The first time I went up the stairs, I had the feeling of being a little girl and my little sister was with me. We went up alone and into an attic area that opened up to the roof. I don't remember the story behind that dream (there is always a story), and I didn't really remember the dream when I woke up that time, but I did remember the house in the last dream I had about it.
It was Saturday morning that I woke up from the latest installment surrounding this house. This one involved another character from a past bad dream or nightmare. There was a girl, who I originally thought was a ghost, in the attic part before you went up the stairs. She spoke to us (myself and the people I was with) but was scared. We finally got her to come out and talk more to us, even venture out into the school (don't know where that came from). By the end of the dream, she was a vampire. Beautiful girl with long, curly blonde hair. She was so horrified in one part after she'd, apparently, attacked the guy who was in love with her. There was blood all over her. When I went to find her, she was flying parallel to the floor, right above it (like inches) around the basement floor. That scene, of a figure flying around in zigzag circles at the bottom of the floor was from another dream I'd had. I don't remember the dream, but I had the thought, while still asleep, that she wasn't supposed to be in this dream. She wasn't part of this series.
I never expect my dreams to make sense, but the fact that I've dreamed about this one house on several occasions has caused me to want to analyze it.
Interesting..
