Small Improvements to Oneself Make the World Seem Less Bothersome

I colored my hair finally. I got tired of brushing it after a shower and seeing it shine with grey. I had 4 inches of intertwined grey hair all throughout my head. I could only see the top and sides, I don't want to know what it looked like in the back.

So now it's a dark red, almost burgundy color. I like it because it's a difference but it's subtle. I think the next time I do this, I am going to do a darker color with some blues and reds. Next time, I will probably be more willing for something drastic.

Anyway...this has made me feel a little better. I'm still not myself. A good ass beating will help it along, but I don't for-see one in the immediate future. There is a play party this weekend but...meh...between my car, money and what feels like a severe lack of social ability, I can't be bothered to go.

My transmission is going out on a 98 Chevy Lumina and I have a feeling that it's going to cost mega bucks to get fixed, so I either need a great benefactor to take care of me and loan me $3000 to put down on a car OR I need to find someone local to beat my ass on a regular basis.

Sorry to hear about the car, james' died two days before the wedding and we are a one car family right now, going to suck bad when school starts.
Dark Burgundy sounds sublime, if you want to do something funkier next time at home give me a call, I ADORE playing twith hair and used to do a friends highlights, All the colored streaks are is processing all the color out then adding a bit of manic panic to them. :) Fun!

I figured out who you were...lol. I love to have people mess with my hair! Right now it just depends on what job in Baton Rouge I land and how lax they are on hairstyles. Guess we'll see.

I might be going up Saturday, and I'd welcome company if you want to ride with me. However, I have a doctor's appointment Monday morning and won't be driving back until mid-day. Would that even work for you?

Re: car -- I can't offer direct help with the car, but I do have a mechanic I trust. Her name's Julie Webb of CARS (Complete Automotive Repair Service) in Metairie. Ask to deal with her, not her televangelist hairdo'd service manager.
