So this morning I woke up and had some stomach issues. I called work to let them know I would be making it in a little late. Not a problem. On my way to work, I stop by Shi's to drop off some Liquibid-D for her cough/congestion. I get back on the road and manage to get into a car accident. I'm fine...the other driver is fine. Both vehicles are mainly ok. Mentally, I'm not so ok. I have no car insurance. I have no money for car insurance. I've been avoiding it for like 6 months now. So it finally caught up to me. I told a few white lies to the cop and that got me out of having my car towed. The guy I hit was pretty nice too. He said that if I find out that I'm not covered today to let him know, we would file a claim under his insurance and I will pay the deductible and any out of pocket expenses. I have no problem with this.

So, I finally make it to work after dealing with the guy, the cop and getting the crying out of my system. I walk in and am not there long when I find out that my driving privileges at work have been suspended. If that's not bad enough, the manager plans to have a meeting with me later about what that's going to mean for my job. I manage to work for the next couple of hours, trying not to think about it. Finally, the meeting comes around and it's not with the branch manager, it's with my supervisor who is acting on behalf of the manager. She tells me that if I don't acquire a Colorado driver's license within the next two weeks, that the Illinois office has decided that it's grounds for termination. I left work after that because I just couldn't fathom being there the rest of the day with all of that shit bothering me.

I've pretty much decided that the money I'm making is not worth me trying to fight to keep that job. I've been on a search most of this afternoon for a new job that will give me a little more money so that my bills are easier to manage. Good luck to me with that. Sir is helping me out alot. He's given me alot of resources for finding jobs fast and has a few friends that he's going to check around with to see if they are hiring.

Guess we'll see. As for tonight, I'm going to stop on the way home and get a very gross, huge, disgusting hamburger and some greasy fries and maybe something chocolate to drown myself in.

Tomorrow will be better because I said so.
