Job update

So, I signed my voluntary resignation today and turned it in. I also spoke to the branch manager and asked her if it were possible to get a good reference for my next job. She said that while the company doesn't allow references (good or bad) that she would be able to tell them that I'm eligible for rehire. That, at least, was good.

I will finish updating my resume tonight and bring it over to Shi's tomorrow to post online in several places. Hopefully I can find something that pays around $12 so that I can afford my bills. Shit, hopefully I can find something that will start right around the 2nd of October. That way I don't have to miss any time from work.

On the accident front, I still need to call the guy I hit yesterday back and discuss some things with him. Tomorrow, I also need to shop for some cheap insurance. That way, I can have some proof of insurance to show the judge when I go to court.

Surprisingly, I've been in a pretty good mood all day. I think I forced myself into in the morning, but this is not the point. I didn't let any of this bother me all day. I smiled, laughed, joked...etc. Several people asked why I don't just move back to Louisiana now, but that isn't going to work at all because I have a court date in October and don't have the money to get back down there.

Besides, I'm looking forward to serving for awhile before I go without it again.

Ok....have to get out of work now before I shoot something/someone.
