Everyone keeps asking me if I'm happy to be home. I think, for the most part, that I am. It always feels good to go home. At least in some way. I'm happy that I'll be around friends and family again. I'm happy with my job. Louisiana never looked and smelled so good. There is a bit of acclimating I've had to do. I had a head cold last week and bronchitis this week. I also have to acclimate to my new position. There is so much to learn, but I think I'm getting there. I've learned alot and I've only been there for a week and a half. I just hope my progress and stuff won't slow down. I would like to keep working as hard as I am and get more accomplished there. Momentum is a terrible thing to lose at a new job. All in all though they don't seem displeased that they've hired me. That's good news.
I made my first trip to BR Sat night and saw a ton of people that I haven't seen in at least a year, some longer than that. It was a good time. I got my emotions put away a little. I got to cry. That was my intent and the person that did it took me exactly where I needed to go (thank you again, btw).
My goes for the next two weeks is to settle and get a continuous set of good night sleeps. The point of that goal is to stop trying to fall asleep on the way to work, to and from lunch and on the way home. Driving across the causeway and jerking myself awake is NOT a good feeling,. Large amounts of caffeine is not good for me either so.....
Ok....of to work. Now that I'm home, I'll keep up with this thing more (I hope).

Sorry I missed you this past weekend. I already had my hands full in Slidell.
I'll be at the party this coming Saturday. It's mine and G's collaring anniversary.
