autumnluv143The good news first or I'm going to explode. I opened my email here at work a few minutes ago and came across a letter from UNO. I've been awarded a merit scholarship for the upcoming year. YES!! I knew being fussy about my grades would pay off! I didn't believe it at first. I didn't even apply! So I got on a livechat session with the admissions office and told them to make sure they didn't give it to the wrong person. They said no, that it was mine based on my transcripts and I didn't need to apply to have it awarded to me. That is SO awesome.
Now I just need to find out how much it's for to see if/how much I need to ask for in Financial Aid. I may be dancing for awhile on this one.
On the other note, my mom just left her house to go in for her surgery. I'm sure it'll be fine, but with her history with surgery and medical problems, I can't help but be a little worried. I told my dad to call me the minute she's out and he knows something so that I can not worry anymore.
It's going to be a crazy day today.
