Book Wishlist
Jul. 13th, 2007 04:35 pmOnly because I can never remember them when I am book shopping, I'm putting my book wishlist here so I can reference it.
Atlas Shrugged - Ayn Rand
Fountainhead - Ayn Rand
This Perfect Day - Ira Levin
Entire Witching Hour series - Anne Rice
All books by Chuck Pohliniuk (sp)
Damnit! There were more and I've already forgotten. That's ok, I will come back to this.
On that note, does anyone have any suggestions? I love books that tell a story. I don't care fiction/nonfiction. I just love something that I can really get into.

Date: 2007-07-14 03:44 pm (UTC)I've always wanted to read The Agony & The Ecstasy. That's one of those books that I just don't think about when I'm shopping though. Thanks!

A Woman of the People by Benjamin Kapps
The Breadgivers (which I'm currently re-reading)... and it's upstairs so I can't think of the author's name
Out of the Corner of his Eye - Dean Koontz (i think this is his best book)
Surfing Armageddon - George Tabb (it's autobiographical)
Summer Sisters - Judy Blume
Peter Straub books usually suck me in for days
I could go on and on and on, but I'll let it rest for now...

Date: 2007-07-14 03:50 pm (UTC)I have, however, read Summer Sisters. I'm not sure how I came to own this particular book but I was really very impressed with how good it was. I'd read all of Blume's children's books growing up. I always enjoyed them and wasn't sure how I'd like her jump from children to adult. She tells a great story, no matter who she's tell it to! GMTA girl!
