The Opinions of The Masses

I subscirbe to the CBS Daily News and Breaking News email updates. Keeps me informed since I can't be bothered to turn on a tv unless I know there is a show or movie I want to watch on. Even then.... Well, anytime there is an interesting article or I've been following a particular news story, I click over to the website and read the entire article. At the end of the article, there are commentations by people who have signed up with CBS news and can then voice their opinions with little or no regard on how that opinion is going to suck the intelligence right out of the rest of the viewing public. 

I'm amused at how, any random person, can take the news story on the possibility of asbestos in Manhattan after that pipe exploded and turn it into a liberal bashing republican convention. What does politics have to do with the possibility of asbestos? These are the same, wonderful people that would comment on how that mom who was killed by the boyfriend "got what she deserved" because she was white and the father of the children was black. They said that she was a traitor to her race and didn't deserve to live anyway. Holy hell. If those people believe they are (and actually does) go to heaven, then I decline my invitation (YES I WOULD BE INVITED! So keep your comments to yourself). 

Anyway, that's my two cents for the morning.
