Work Stuff
Jul. 30th, 2007 11:37 amSo, my weekend was ok. I spent most of Saturday being cranky, went and celebrated M's mom's birthday with some BBQ, and on Sunday my family came over to my mom's were we BBQ'd ribs and hotdogs. It wasn't bad.
Now, I left work on Friday feeling frustrated and annoyed and very willing to quit. That was probably an aid in my being cranky most of Saturday. I walked into work this morning, after having successfully put work out of my mind all weekend, and became instantly annoyed and frustrated again. Sheesh. I input some of the data I'd had laying around on my desk on Friday and, Oh gee, how amazing, it made the quality of this branch look horrible.
I think I spend more time defending our horrible quality and listening to excuses than I do actually solving anything. What can I do about that, though? I need a new job. I really need to stick this one out until the end of December. I'll have my semester finished and they won't make me pay back vacation time that I overused. So, if anyone hears of a job in the Northshore/NO East area that sounds good, please let me know. I just really don't think I'll be able to survive this one for much longer.
My other option is to go ahead and let this one go, etch in a few extra classes and find part time work doing anything I can in the in-between hours of classes.
Any suggestions out there?
